Pack Meeting Tomorrow!

Our Pack Meeting is Tuesday, December 17th at the OUMC starting at 7pm.

Quest Martial Arts will be there to do a demonstration for the Scouts.  Please remember to bring your piggy banks for the Masonic Home for Children.  We will also be distributing Pinewood Derby kits.

Parade is On!

Meet by 9am on East Franklin by Boundary (just NE of the planetarium).  The parade ends on Fidelity Street in Carrboro, so either have someone drop you off or park somewhere in the middle (parking deck off Rosemary is a good option).

Dress warmly!  The kids may be able to sit under the canopy on the float, but the parents will need an umbrella.  Don't forget to bring candy to pass out.

Pack 825 is in Zone E, line-up number 48.  We are between Raleigh and Boundary streets on East Franklin.  This is NOT where we were last year!

Parade, Ski, Pack Meeting, and more!

Join us this Friday night for float making and pizza.  Don't forget to sign up here.  We have the OUMC reserved from 3PM to 7PM, so come when you can.  Please note -- the parade will go on, rain or shine!

Signup now for the Ski Trip. Deadline is January 11th and you may use Scout Buck$ for this trip. Please email Talisha if you have not received your coupon code.

Pack Meeting next Tuesday!  We'll meet at 7pm at the OUMC.  Quest Martial Arts will be there to do a demonstration for the scouts.

Reminder:  please bring your piggy banks for Masonic Home for Children with you to give to Lisa Ostrum on Friday night / Saturday morning, or next week at our Pack meeting.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for our tour of the Animal Shelter on Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30PM.  Scouts can work towards their Pet Care Belt Loop and Academic Pin.

Orange (Shakori) District Awards Dinner

Congratulations to Mahdi and Mike!

At last night's 2013 Orange District Awards Dinner, two of our own received recognition for their hard work and dedication -- Mike Roberts for Assistant Cubmaster and Mahdi Fahim for Webelos Den Leader.  Thanks for helping to make Pack 825 the BEST PACK ALIVE!

Also announced at last night's dinner was the winning selection for the District naming contest.  Orange District has been renamed to the Shakori District, named after the Skakori or Shaccoree Tribe whose villages were once located in this area along the Eno River.
