Mark your calendars for Holiday Fun!

Saturday, December 13th @10am -- Chapel Hill Holiday Parade
We will meet one evening the week before for pizza dinner and float making.  All Scouts are encouraged to help make the float even if they cannot attend the Parade.  This year's theme is the "Marshmallow Brigade."

Tuesday, December 16th @6pm -- Holiday Caroling
We will meet at Carol Woods Retirement Home for a fun evening of Holiday caroling with the residents.  This is a great opportunity for our Scouts to spread a little holiday cheer!

DEADLINE for USS Yorktown - Dec 2nd

Our NUMBER ONE outing for the year!  Sign up now for this great trip to sleep on an aircraft carrier, the USS Yorktown.  Even though this trip is in February, we need to get our reservation in early for this highly anticipated and very popular trip.  We only do this outing every two years, so if you haven't been, then sign up here -- and by December 2nd.

Order Your Extra Pack Shirts by WEDNESDAY

While every Scout receives one of our NEW Pack Tee Shirts, you may want an extra one or two for parents, siblings, etc.  Please order here by this Wednesday, Nov. 19th.

Pack Meeting Tuesday, Nov 18th @7pm

Our November Pack Meeting will be in the OUMC sanctuary (next door to the fellowship hall where we usually meet) beginning at 7pm.  After a short Bobcat Ceremony to welcome in our new Scouts, there will be an animal program by Piedmont Wildlife Center, complete with LIVE ANIMALS!

Don't forget your food for Backpack Buddies.  The Den that brings in the most food (per scout) will get to throw a Pie in the Face of Cubmaster Tim!

All donated food goes towards helping kids have nutritious, child friendly foods after school. 31% of Chapel Hill-Carrboro elementary school children receive subsidized, “free,” school meals. They go hungry on weekends and other times of the year when those meals are not available.  Here's a link to what food to bring / what not to bring.

Deadline for Caving Overnight

The deadline for the Caving trip has been extended until Tuesday, November 4th.  To register, please go here.  If you have any questions, please contact Talisha.
