New Food Drive Challenge

Kids Feeding Kids! There are many children in our own community who rely on free school breakfast and lunch to meet their nutritional needs.  They often don't have enough to eat on the weekends or even in the evenings.  Many of their parents work multiple jobs and they may be home alone or with an older sibling.  This year, instead of collecting random canned goods, we will collect the following requested items that kids can prepare safely by themselves:
  • mac and cheese cups
  • fruit cups
  • granola bars
  • pudding
  • small cereal boxes
  • pop tarts
  • crackers
  • peanut butter
  • cheese or peanut butter crackers
  • go go fruit squeezes
  • oatmeal packets
  • microwaveable ravioli
  • microwavable spaghettios
  • canned chicken
  • fresh fruit (apples and oranges)
  • packaged grits
  • trail mix
  • goldfish
This year the contest is based on which den collects the most items -- and the winning den gets to pie the Cubmaster in the face

Bring them to the pack meetings beginning in December and continuing through March. The winning den will be announced at the April Pack meeting.

The food will be distributed to needy kids in Orange County.  Thanks for your support!

Community Service: Share the Love

On November 29th from 9-11am, come to Orange United Methodist Church to pack Share the Love Bags. We need bottled water, granola bars, crackers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, travel size wet wipes, new socks, gallon-size Zip Lock Bags. (You don't have to bring everything or stay the whole time. Come help pack even if you can't bring anything).

Bring your donated items that day and we will pack the bags to help people in our community. You can then grab a couple bags over the month of December to keep in your vehicle to Share the Love this holiday season! Please wear your Class A uniforms.
